Our Chamber has developed a Chamber Accreditation Model with reference to the systems used by Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges which is the most effective and biggest representative of Turkish Business Environment, to the finest systems used by Chambers of England and Germany through a cooperation between Eurochambers and England Chambers Union. Our system that draws consonent development brings up minimal services those should be presented by Chambers basicly, a chance for self-performance evaluation to Chambers on whether they were able to present said services or not and a triennial evaluation which will be applied to Chambers by auditors attained by Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges.

Our Chamber has taken place in the group of 15 accredited chambers those included 2007 Accreditation Project by Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges.

Taner Gündüz, an auditor from Turkish Loyd Foundation, has visited our Chamber on 17th of December, 2007 and executed an improvement meeting with us. Our Chamber has put a good show during the inspection implemented by Manager of Turkish Loyd Foundation Certification Department; Ayfer Adıgüzel and Secretary of TUCSE(TOBB) Accreditation Board; Sibel Aygün on 6t5h of April, 2007.

At the end of the inspection during which presence of a system containing 5 basic criteria and 14 elements has been observed, our Chamber has been found convenient for accreditation conditions and got a very good degree  highly above the sufficient degree to be accredited.  With the final decision taken by Accreditation Board on 4th of May, 2007, our Chamber has been given right to have Accreditation Certificate for a 3 years term.

As a result of inspections executed within this project, we; as Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry have proved once more that our institution is one of the most qualified Chambers of Turkey with its service quality.

Within the frame of our quality policy as; "Representing Edirne Province and Turkey in most effective way both on both national and international platform; in the frame of professional discipline, morality and solidarity, to present our members immediate, continuous and excellent service; to provide added value to economical and social environments with our national and international respected identity through sharing experience and background; developing continually, to heighten added value we provided”, we reached our goal to be an “Accredited Chamber” with our consistent and self-sacrificing struggles. Our attempts for ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System is actual in business and will turn out a success in the near future and we will substantiate institutions’s profundity in our services as Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Our Chamber obeys all requirements for constant development and modernization and will keep taking big steps for permanent and excellent service to our members.
