In the letter dated 14.10.2025 and numbered 13125, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

Information is provided on the developments that will arise from the end of the transitional period origin flexibility applicable to electric vehicle trade as of 1 January 2027 within the scope of the Trade and Cooperation Agreement signed between the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK) and on the prominent news in the EU press on the subject.

The article continued by explaining that the situation in question would also have an impact on the relevant sector in our country and that the UK’s participation in the Pan-European-Mediterranean Origin Cumulation System would be positive for our country.
