In the letter dated 13.11.2024 and numbered 12394, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

It has been stated that a guide has been prepared by the European Association for Forwarding, Transport, Logistics and Customs Services (CLECAT) regarding the implementation of the third phase (Release 3) of the ICS2 system in the maritime transport sector, regarding the electronic customs system called Import Control System-2 (ICS2) put into effect by the European Union (EU).

In the article, it is stated that the guide, a sample of which is presented in the appendix, is a study that explains best practice recommendations, steps to be taken to adapt to the ICS2 system, technical requirements and process-based applications, especially for freight forwarders.
