In the letter dated 12.11.2024 and numbered 12340, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

It was stated that the existing sanctions imposed by the European Union against Belarus were updated in accordance with the relevant Decision taken on 12.09.2024.

The letter also explains that customs authorities can interpret the Decision in an expansive manner, and in this context, as detailed in the letter, logistics companies wishing to transit from Lithuania to Belarus are not permitted, and information is provided on the objection procedure regarding this practice.
