In the letter dated 31.12.2024 and numbered 14283, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

In the letter received from the Ministry of Trade, with reference to the information obtained from the German Embassy in Ankara, it is stated that trade fair participants exhibiting goods at fairs to be held in Germany (only with a valid participant ID card) are exempt from the requirement for business people in our country to make a visa appointment in advance and therefore can apply for a Schengen visa without making an appointment at the locally authorized visa acceptance center of the external service provider iDATA during normal working hours.

The article continues by stating that in order to apply without an appointment, the necessary conditions must be proven with documents, otherwise an appointment will be required.
