In the letter dated 17.01.2025 and numbered 621, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,
The Tirana Municipality has established the Technology and Economic Development Area (TEDA) on a 35-hectare area as an industrial zone for technology, research, and development. The area aims to increase foreign direct investment in Tirana. In this context, it is stated that the focus will be on technology, IT, automotive, electronics, pharmaceutical, agriculture, and manufacturing sectors. Companies in these areas will be provided with special financial and fiscal incentives and a facilitating legal framework. Turkish companies are invited to cooperate.
The article continues by stating that Albanian Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, stated that they would be pleased to see Turkish investors and business people at TEDA in March 2024, during the meeting with our Ambassador to Tirana, Tayyar KaÄŸan Atay.
