It has been stated that the European Commission's Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) published the "2026 Single Market and Competitiveness Annual Report" on January 30, 2026.

The article states that the report consists of four (4) main headings: A Functioning Single Market, Closing the Innovation Gap, Decarbonizing Industry and Investment, Enhancing Security and Reducing Dependencies, and provides information about the content of the headings.

The article further states that the report is supported by a number of supplementary documents, and provides a link to access these documents.
