Dear Member,
In the letter dated 31.01.2025 and numbered 1225, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,
It was announced that our drivers engaged in international road transport began to experience problems at the border crossing between Belarus and the Russian Federation as of January 1, 2024, and that as of January 15, 2024, trucks driven by drivers who are citizens of our country are only allowed to pass through the Ezerische (Belarus)-Lobok (Russia) route.
The article provides details regarding current information obtained from the Minsk Trade Counsellor's Office on the aforementioned issue.
The article continues, stating that, with the entry into force of the "Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Visas," the restriction on international transport vehicles used by citizens of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Iran, China, and Turkey crossing the Belarus-Russian Federation state border only through the fixed checkpoint Lobok (Ezerishche-Nevel highway) was lifted as of January 11, 2025.
Best regards.
