In the letter dated 03.09.2024 and numbered 00100366341 sent to our Chamber from the TC Halal Accreditation Agency International Relations Department,

As a result of the amendment made in the Law No. 7060 on Certain Regulations Regarding the Halal Accreditation Agency on 04.06.2022, it has been stated that the organizations that issue halal certificates for all products and services to be offered to the domestic market are required to be accredited by HAK.

In order to increase the awareness of our businesses across the country regarding the regulation in question, which will be put into effect after the 1 (one) year transition period foreseen in the law, to prevent any grievances that may arise from lack of information after the law enters into force, and to improve their knowledge and awareness regarding the steps taken internationally in the field of halal certification, it has been deemed appropriate to organize information seminars in the specified provinces in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).

In this context, the “Importance of Halal Certification in Trade and Current Developments Seminar”, in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and the Halal Accreditation Agency, will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 14:00 at the Edirne Commodity Exchange.

Zafer Soylu, Chairman of the Board of Halal Accreditation Agency, will be attending the seminar as a speaker and details regarding the program are provided in the appendix.
