In the letter dated 25.08.2025 and numbered 9917, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

It has been communicated that the "Decision on Amendments to the Inward Processing Regime Decision", which was put into effect by the Council of Ministers Decision dated 17/1/2025 and numbered 2005/8391, was published in the Official Gazette dated 16/8/2025 and numbered 32988 and entered into force.

In the article, it is stated that with the change in the decision in question, regulations were made to ensure that the legislative studies regarding the steps to be taken, especially the regulations regarding the document periods, are included in the Communiqué in a uniform manner in order to ensure more effective use of the regime.

The article continues by stating that the Decision, which was approved and entered into force on 16/8/2025, includes changes regarding the sanctions to be applied in case of abuse of rights within the scope of the Inward Processing Regime, effective monitoring of document periods and the removal of certain restrictions.
