In the letter dated 13.01.2025 and numbered 6500802, sent to our Chamber from the Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey Edirne Governorship,

Our Ministry carries out its activities with the mission of implementing the National Technology Initiative, which will enhance our country's global competitiveness, ensure its economic and technological independence, and enable breakthroughs in critical technologies. The development of human capital, one of the most important components of the National Technology Initiative, holds a significant place among our Ministry's activities. Organized with the contributions of our institutions and organizations that play a critical role in our country's national technology development processes, the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival has become one of the largest platforms for the National Technology Initiative, hosting events such as technology competitions, science and engineering activities, air shows, and an entrepreneurship summit.

TEKNOFEST also boasts international recognition and engagement. Participants from over 100 countries participate in the technology competitions. The events are visited by numerous foreign mission representatives and delegations. TEKNOFEST also provides opportunities for collaborations between our country and other countries in the defense, aviation, and space industries. This paves the way for increasing our country's awareness and reputation, as well as increasing the number of countries from around the world establishing ties with Türkiye.

TEKNOFEST, which will be held in Istanbul in 2025, will continue to host Türkiye's highest-prize technology competitions, with competition categories updated annually. The application deadline for Teknofest 2025 technology competitions is February 20, 2025.
