Dear Member,
In the letter dated 27.12.2024 and numbered 14207, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,
In the letter sent to our Union from the Ministry of Trade, it is stated that the following changes will be made in the Wholesale Registration System, which was put into operation pursuant to Article 15 of the Law No. 5957 on the Regulation of Trade in Fruits and Vegetables and Other Goods with Sufficient Depth of Supply and Demand, as of 01.01.2025.
1- The "Collected Goods" option will be removed from the system for purchases from manufacturers and shipments from manufacturers, and the notifiers who procure goods from manufacturers will be required to declare the TR ID or Tax Identification Numbers of the manufacturers of the goods to the System.
2- Notifiers may optionally restrict other notifiers who can send them goods through the System. By activating the "Trusted Notifier List," notifiers can specify who can send them goods. By activating the "Blocked Notifier List," notifiers can specify who they do not want to send them goods.
3- Article 41, paragraph fourteen, of the Regulation on Fruit and Vegetable Trade and Wholesale Markets, enacted pursuant to Law No. 5957, states, "If the market duty accrued upon notification is not paid within five business days, a new notification shall not be made until payment is made." In this context, the System will automatically block notifiers with unpaid market duty debts that have been outstanding for thirty days since the accrual date from making notifications. If the market duty debt is paid, the System will automatically remove the block within one hour.
Best regards.
