OHS Trainings

Dear Member,

In the letter dated 04.06.2025 and numbered 12377, sent to our Chamber from the Presidency of the Labor and Social Security Training and Research Center of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Republic of Turkey,

The assignment of Occupational Health and Safety professionals to the workplace within the scope of the Occupational Health and Safety Law is stated in Article 38 of the relevant law as "This provision shall enter into force on 31/12/2024 for public institutions, excluding those employed within the scope of the repealed Article 81 of the Labor Law No. 4857, and for workplaces with fewer than 50 employees and classified as low-hazardous." Furthermore, in accordance with the "Regulation on Occupational Health and Safety Services to be Conducted by the Employer or the Employer's Representative in Workplaces," occupational health and safety services in workplaces with fewer than 50 employees and classified as low-hazardous can be carried out by employers who have received training approved by the Ministry.

Our Center has begun providing 16 hours of mandatory training via distance learning for employers who wish to provide their own occupational health and safety services. Participants can log in to https://kampus.casgem.gov.tr/ with their e-government password, purchase the training, and begin training. The certificate received after the training is automatically transmitted to the Occupational Health and Safety Clerk application of the General Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety, providing individuals with the necessary competencies to provide occupational safety services in their own workplaces.

In addition, for public institutions and workplaces with fewer than 10 employees that are classified as less hazardous, Basic Occupational Health and Safety Employee Training is provided via distance learning by our Center.

Best regards.
