In the letter dated 18.09.2024 and numbered 9530, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

At the 37th Ordinary Session of the Iraqi Council of Ministers held on 10.09.2024:

• Turkish citizens who are under 15 or over 50 years old and holding an ordinary passport are exempted from visa requirements and fees on the basis of reciprocity.

• These people are granted direct entry permits at airports and land borders for a stay of up to 30 days in accordance with the provisions of the Foreigners Residence Law (No. 76 of 2017).

It is stated that the decision has been made and that it is possible to contact the Baghdad Trade Counsellor's Office ( bagdat@ticaret.gov.tr ) for detailed information.
