In the letter dated 04.11.2025 and numbered 14166, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

Recently, requests from the Chambers and Commodity Exchanges to exempt pickup trucks from inspections at Highway Inspection Stations have been conveyed to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey .

The requests in question have been forwarded to the relevant authorities and followed up, and the letter sent by the General Directorate of Highways states that only pickup trucks that are found to endanger traffic safety by improper and irregular loading will be inspected.

The response letter of the General Directorate of Highways regarding the issue and sample truck images are presented in the attachment.
