In the letter dated 12.07.2024 and numbered 7039 sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

It has been explained that exporters can prepare a declaration of origin with a Registered Exporter (REX) number in order to send products originating from the beneficiary countries specified in the current legislation to the European Union (EU) and Switzerland .

The article continues by stating that there is no possibility and/or obligation to use the REX number in exports to third countries outside the EU and Switzerland, especially the UK and South Korea .
