In the letter dated 09.09.2025 and numbered 5375, sent to our Chamber from the Corporate Communications Coordinatorship of the Union of Municipalities of the Republic of Turkey Marmara,

Marmara Urban Forum (MARUF – www.marmaraurbanforum.org ), organized internationally every two years by the Marmara Municipalities Union with the motto of “Solution-Producing Cities”, will be held at the Haliç Congress Center on 1-3 October 2025.

MARUF, which aims to develop collective solutions with all urban stakeholders by aligning local needs and priorities with the global agenda, was first held in Istanbul in 2019 and hosted 250 speakers and 5,440 participants from 25 countries. MARUF21, held online in 2021, brought together over 500 speakers from 52 countries and an audience of over 8,000. In 2023, MARUF, in collaboration with Metropolis and UN-Habitat, hosted World Metropolitan Cities Day events in Istanbul, hosting over 380 speakers and over 5,000 participants from 62 countries.

In a world where crises and opportunities are paramount, MARUF, positioned as an incubator for creative solutions in cities, will be held this year within the framework of "On the Edge of All Possible." The forum's primary objectives include examining cities from a broad international perspective, both in terms of content and participants, and bringing together all stakeholders and professional participants from around the world who think and produce on cities.

The three-day forum will bring together experts in the field of cities and urbanization from around the world. We present this for your information.
