In the letter numbered 923 dated 27.01.2025, it was conveyed that, according to the relevant legislation in force in the Russian Federation (RF), the fee for using federal roads, which is 3.05 rubles per kilometer and collected from vehicles over 12 tons, will be applied as 3.34 rubles as of February 1, 2025.

This time, the attached letter to you explains that the Russian Federation has increased the fine for vehicles traveling without paying the aforementioned fee from 5,000 rubles (approximately $50) to 20,000 rubles (approximately $200). It also states that foreign vehicles will not be allowed to leave the Russian Federation if they fail to pay the aforementioned road usage fee or have outstanding fines for violations of traffic regulations or overloading.
