In the letter dated 31.12.2024 and numbered 14282, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

In the article of interest, a sample of which is presented in the attachment,

1) Regulations have been made regarding the tracking of all domestic and foreign vehicles carrying timber cargo within the scope of the goods lists to be procured from the sources specified in the letter to the Russian Federation (RF) via satellite tracking devices (vehicle tracking system) and the regulation will start on 01.01.2025,

2) Motor vehicles entering the Russian Federation by land will be subject to disinfection if information is received from the country of entry or international organizations regarding the existence of contagious animal diseases, and the implementation will begin on 01.01.2025.

3) As of January 27, 2025, the goods transported within the scope of the Customs transit regime in the territory of the Russian Federation and Belarus, and the details of which are provided in the letter, will not be allowed to be transported without a navigation seal (vehicle tracking system).
