In the letter dated 09.09.2025 and numbered 11263, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

It has been reported that in the furniture sector, promotional and user manuals and warranty documents are not prepared for various products offered to consumers, that the companies do not allow consumers to use their rights under the warranty in accordance with the legislation, and that therefore consumers are suffering.

The article continues by stating that manufacturers and importers have obligations such as issuing warranty certificates, preparing Turkish introduction and user manuals, providing after-sales maintenance and repair services, establishing authorized service stations, and complying with repair deadlines; otherwise, administrative fines may be imposed under Law No. 6502.
