In the letter dated 19.09.2025 and numbered 11761, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

It is reported that a national participation event is planned for the "International Exhibtion for the Rebuilding of Syria – IMAR" fair, organized by the Istanbul Minerals and Metals Exporters' Association General Secretariat, to be held in Damascus, Syria, from October 29 to November 1, 2025. The International Exhibition for the Reconstruction of Syria (IMAR) is expected to attract 100,000 visitors and over 400 exhibitors. The fair is expected to attract distinguished companies, investors, and decision-makers from around the world, aiming to foster economic cooperation and support the development and reconstruction process. The fair will focus on the Energy and Renewable Energy, Industry and Production Line, and Construction, Infrastructure, and Real Estate sectors.

The article continues by stating that participation in fairs abroad is supported by the Ministry of Trade and that the base amount for support for the IMAR Fair is 14,423 TL and the base amount for support for micro and small enterprises is 21,635 TL.
