In the letter dated 29.01.2025 and numbered 1085, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

As is known, the Turkish Sustainability Reporting Standards (TSRS) entered into force with Public Oversight Authority (KGK) Board Decisions No. 21632 and 21634, published in the Official Gazette No. 32414 (1.M) dated December 29, 2023, and the businesses that will implement the TSRS were determined. Accordingly, businesses are now required to prepare sustainability reports starting from accounting periods beginning January 1, 2024.

In this context, a series of regulations have been implemented to standardize training programs to be provided within the framework of TSRS and to increase the competence and capacity of "green-collar" human resources employed in businesses. The "Procedures and Principles Regarding Corporate Sustainability Reporting Training," which form the basis of these regulations, was published by the KGK in the Official Gazette dated June 4, 2024, and numbered 32566, and entered into force.

TOBB MEYBEM A.Ş., one of the affiliates of our Union, has been accredited by KGK to organize Corporate Sustainability Reporting Trainings in accordance with the "Accreditation Request Assessment Announcement Regarding Corporate Sustainability Reporting Trainings" dated 19.12.2024 and numbered 2024-81.

In this regard, within the framework of TSRS, "Corporate Sustainability Reporting Training" approved by KGK has begun to be organized in order to increase the competence and capacity of companies in this area.

The training content includes sustainability, TSRS, Türkiye Green Deal Action Plan, emission control and management, corporate governance, basic finance and sustainable finance.

The training program in question is planned to be face-to-face and 62 hours (9 days) in total, and the first of the training program will be held on 6-7-8-13-14-15-20-21-22 February 2025 at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building - İbrahim Çağlar Meeting Hall, and the quota is limited to 35 people.

The training program is planned to continue to be organized at regular intervals throughout 2025.

At the end of the training, participants will be issued a "Training Participation Certificate" approved by KGK.
