In the letter dated 12.09.2024 and numbered 9292, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

In accordance with the notification made by the General Directorate of Customs of the Ministry of Trade with our registered letters, as of 02.09.2024, in the current NCTS application, in the transit declarations within the scope of our country's mobile common transit regime, the following will be included in the carrier identification number field;

- EORI number for foreign carriers,

- It was reported that for carrier companies established in our country, it was mandatory to declare tax numbers that have been matched with EORI in the system.

This time, with the letter dated 05.09.2024 and numbered 33830 received from the General Directorate of Customs of the Ministry of Trade, it is stated that this practice has been suspended until further notice due to the intense demands received due to the difficulties experienced by our sector.
