In the letter dated 13.01.2026 and numbered 625, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

It is stated that the fixed reference number application, which was in place in previous years under the article titled "Declaration of TAREKS reference number to customs" in Product Safety and Inspection (PSI) Communiqués numbered 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 25, has been abolished, and a change has been made for declarations outside the scope to be made directly through the Risk-Based Control System in Foreign Trade (TAREKS) instead of customs administrations, and that the transition periods are limited to products for which transport documents were issued before January 1, 2026.
