In the letter dated 18.10.2024 and numbered 486907, sent to our Chamber from the Presidency of EU and Foreign Relations Department of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support Administration of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology,

The “Competitiveness Programme for Enterprises and SMEs - COSME” Programme, the national coordination of which was carried out by our Presidency, has been replaced by the Single Market Programme (TPP) - COSME Component. The National Participation Agreement for the Single Market Programme COSME Component was signed in Brussels on 31 March 2023 and entered into force upon publication in the Official Gazette on 12 May 2023. Our Presidency has been authorized as the national coordinator organization for the Single Market Programme and within this scope, it carries out the promotion of the program, announcement of calls, information, awareness-raising activities, technical support and training activities in order to increase the level of benefiting from the program in our country.

Within the scope of the Single Market Programme, a call for project proposals on “Social Economy Enterprises: Capacity Building and Business Opportunities for Social Circular Enterprises” has been published and the information note regarding the call, which consists of two components, is attached.

Within the scope of the COSME Turkey Project carried out by our Presidency, a general training and workshops for each sub-call will be held within the scope of the said call. The said events will be held online on the dates specified below, and registration for the events can be made via cosme.tat@weglobal.org :

• Social Economy Enterprises: Capacity Building and Business Opportunities Call for Training for Social Circular Enterprises: 23-24 October 2024

• Workshop on the Call for Improving Organizational and Entrepreneurial Capacities of SMEs in the Social Economy Ecosystem (SMP-COSME-2024-SEE-01): 31 October 2024

• Workshop on the Call for Collaborations for Circular Value Chains between Mainstream Enterprises and SMEs (SMPCOSME-2024-SEE-02): 01 November 2024
