In the letter dated 28.10.2024 and numbered 11762, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

In the letter dated 22.10.2024 and numbered 42211 received from the General Directorate of Customs of the Ministry of Trade, referring to the Note of the Iranian Embassy received from the General Directorate of Bilateral Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is stated that, in order to contribute to the development of international transportation and transit through Iranian territory, to meet the needs, to update the conditions according to the legislation in force in other countries and to ease the transit conditions of active containers, as of 20 August 2024, all 45-foot standard containers are considered as normal cargo, provided that the attached regulations are complied with, and there is no need to obtain a special transit permit for traffic cargo.
