In the letter dated 25.07.2024 and numbered 7499, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

It is reported that the first call under the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) "Accelerate-to-Demonstrate (A2D)" Programme has been published on the UNIDO Procurement Portal. The article continues by stating that the program in question is part of the Ayrton Fund, which is dedicated to supporting R&D in the field of clean energy in countries eligible for OECD Official Development Assistance (ODA), and will be financed with £65 million in the first phase by the UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DENSNZ).

Proposals must support the implementation of pilot projects for innovative clean energy solutions in the following four thematic areas:

• Critical minerals

• Clean hydrogen

• Smart energy

• Industrial decarbonization

The deadline for submission of proposals is 19 August 2024 at 16:00 (Vienna Eastern European Time-CET). Detailed information about the call can be found at the following link:
