Our Chamber's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Sezai Irmak, attended the 13th Technology Development Zones Coordination meeting, which was attended by our Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Zekeriya CoÅŸtu.
Speaking at the meeting, Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer stated that Edirne is on its way to becoming the capital of the Balkans in terms of agriculture, tourism and technology, and that with the support of our Ministry of Industry and Technology, the foundations of four Organized Industrial Zones were laid in four months and that we will build Innovative, Renewable and Green Organized Industrial Zones here at the top.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Zekeriya CoÅŸtu, emphasized in his statement that the resources allocated for R&D have increased, the IT sector is growing rapidly and Turkey's technology ecosystem has gained significant momentum.
Following the speeches, extensive information was given about the work and projects carried out at Trakya Teknopark.
