Our Chamber hosted an important visit by hosting the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Sezai Irmak, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Turkey, Jurgis Vilcinskas, and the Deputy Heads of Mission of the Embassies of EU member states in Türkiye.

The meeting, aimed to promote Edirne's commercial and economic potential, highlighted the city's geographical location, historical richness, and strategic advantages. The economic contributions of our border crossings to our province and our country were particularly emphasized, and steps to increase international trade and investment opportunities were discussed.

Investment opportunities in the textile, agriculture, and food processing sectors, as well as advantages such as logistics infrastructure and free zones, were discussed in detail. Chairman of the Board, Sezai Irmak, stated that increasing trade cooperation with the EU would be of great benefit to both parties.

At the end of the meeting, the questions that the delegation members were curious about were answered by our President Sezai Irmak and the opportunities offered by our city, Edirne, were discussed in detail.
