Within the scope of the “Declaration Supervision Study” initiated by the Istanbul Sectoral-2 Audit Department of the Tax Inspection Board of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Turkey, an information meeting was held in our Chamber in order to increase the voluntary tax compliance of taxpayers and to minimize the problems experienced in the declaration filing processes.

The meeting, attended by Mustafa Özer, Head of the Istanbul Sectoral-2 Audit Department; Tuğrul Gelegin, Group Manager of the Edirne Revenue Administration; and Cüneyt Keskin, President of the Edirne Financial Advisory Board (SMMMO), provided comprehensive information on fulfilling tax obligations accurately, completely, and on time. Practices and innovations aimed at error-free tax return preparation, addressing difficulties encountered during the filing process, and encouraging voluntary compliance were discussed in detail.
