Within the scope of the "Future is in the Kitchen with Gastro Academy" project carried out by Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with Edirne Ä°ÅŸkur Provincial Directorate and National Education Directorate with the support of Thrace Development Agency within the scope of the 2022 Social Development Support Program (SOGEP) of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, we came together with the sector representatives of our province in the assistant cook training course initiated with an employment guarantee for unemployed young people.
Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer, İşkur Provincial Director Şengül Çildam, National Education Provincial Director Deputy Cemal Turan, Thrace Development Agency representatives and our sector representatives met with our Master Instructor Berrin Deliormanlı and our trainees, examined our training kitchen and received information about the curriculum and training process from Project Coordinator Elif Yardımcı.
Sector representatives, restaurant, hotel and kitchen owners who are the employers in our training kitchen where our trainees will be employed, expressed their expectations from our trainees who will graduate qualified in order to eliminate the deficiencies in the sector.
With the professional kitchen, which is a first in Edirne, we aim to reduce the unemployed young population in our city and region, and we continue to cooperate with our partners.
