Our Chamber's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Sezai Irmak, our Assembly President, M. Emre Alp, and our Treasurer, Mustafa Yılmaz, attended the opening ceremony of the 664th Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling Festival.

The ceremony, which was held with the participation of Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer, Edirne Mayor Filiz Gencan Akın, Kırkpınar Ağa Ufuk Özünlü, Turkey Traditional Wrestling Federation President İbrahim Türkiş, representatives of public institutions and organizations, and wrestling fans from all over the world, was followed by the official parade of the wrestlers who will participate in the wrestling competition.

Our Chairman of the Board, Sezai Irmak, thanked all individuals and institutions who contributed to the survival of Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling, one of the most deeply rooted legacies of Turkish culture, and wished success to all wrestlers who pass on our ancestral sport to future generations.

The fairgrounds set up as part of the festival were also visited, and company representatives were met. The stands of our Chamber's member companies were inspected on-site, and discussions were held with company officials regarding ongoing projects. We extend our gratitude to all companies and those who contributed to supporting and promoting regional production.
