The “North Macedonia Country Promotion Day”, organized under the leadership of the Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia in Ankara and with the contributions of the Consulate General in Istanbul and our Honorary Consulate, was held with the participation of our Board of Directors, Assembly members and Chamber members.

The event was organized to develop trade between North Macedonia and our country, to carry our province and country's economy to foreign markets, and to contribute to commercial relations with new collaborations by identifying business and investment opportunities in North Macedonia. Chairman of the Board of Directors Sezai Irmak hosted the event and underlined that as a country, we need to identify investment opportunities in North Macedonia and support our economy with the North Macedonia foreign trade network.

Expressing that there is a positive trend in increasing the trade volume between Turkey and the Republic of North Macedonia, Ambassador Jovan Manasiyevski and supporting him, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of North Macedonia in Edirne and Vice President of MATTO, Eser Cevahir, stated that being a Sister Chamber with the Edirne Chamber of Commerce is an advantage for our members and that Turks are involved in a wide variety of sectors in North Macedonia.

We would like to thank the Embassy, Istanbul Consulate General, Honorary Consulate, Matto and the Trade Attaché for their efforts in this productive event, and we hope that our meeting will be beneficial for the trade of both countries.
