We held an important meeting regarding the preparation process for the geographical indication registration of Karaçalı Honey in partnership with our Chamber and the Edirne Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.

Edirne Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, İslam Köse; Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry personnel Dr. Sultan Şahin Ateş and Burak Çakmalı; and Edirne Public Education Center Beekeeping Master Instructor, Uğur Boz, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, we discussed details regarding the product's technical specifications, production areas, and quality standards, and determined the roadmap for the registration process through inter-institutional collaboration.

By registering Karachali Honey with a geographical indication, we aim to strengthen the brand value of our region and provide the added value deserved by our local producers.
