At the ceremony, hosted by Ivana Dukanovic, Director General of Consular Affairs and Diaspora at the Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Naser Alim, Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Edirne, it was emphasized that the consulate would make significant contributions to the development of diplomatic and commercial relations between the two countries. It was also stated that this step would further strengthen Edirne's ties with Montenegro and enhance regional cooperation.

We hope that the newly opened Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Montenegro in Edirne will lead to many more wonderful collaborations for our province and Montenegro.
