Our Chamber's Chairman of the Board, Sezai Irmak, and the Bulgarian Consul General in Edirne, Radoslava Kafedzhiyska, celebrated the arrival of spring with a symbolic event on March 1st by distributing martenitsa (a type of sweet pastry) to our citizens.

Consul General Kafedzhiyska and our Mayor Sezai Irmak, who presented martenitsa to the people of Edirne, celebrated the spring of Edirne with this meaningful Balkan tradition consisting of red and white threads symbolizing health, luck, and abundance, and shared their wishes for health and happiness.
